Following on from Field Notes (2016), Field Notes II builds on the same concept of using diverse field recordings as the basis for Jane's original percussion compositions.

Field recordings were made (on a Galaxy S4 Mini phone) in New York City (1), Nashville TN (2, 8), Chattanooga TN (3, 6, 7, 11, 14), London UK (4), Bled, Slovenia (5), Hawarden, Wales (9), Schrattenberg, Austria (10), Zagreb, Croatia (12) and Hermitage, TN (13).

Live percussion was recorded at the Goose Coop, Lincoln VT.
